About Erin

My approach to therapy is grounded in respect, authenticity, and empathy. I am a curious and empathetic listener, and infuse humor and warmth in my work. My aim is to help you find relief from pain, deepen awareness of your emotional experience, and develop a greater sense of meaning, satisfaction, and resiliency in your life and relationships. 

Rooted in a psychodynamic framework, I take an integrative, trauma-informed approach to understanding your life experiences. How we navigate our lives involves ways we have learned to protect and take care of ourselves through the challenges we face, along with experiences and relationships that inform the way we think about and interact with others. Recognizing what shapes us is key to meaningful change. Together, with curiosity and compassion, we’ll explore experiences and patterns in your life to more fully understand and gently challenge how they contribute to feelings of unhappiness, confusion, or disconnection that bring you to therapy.

At the heart of my work is a deep belief in each person’s innate capacity for growth. Therapy is the process of nurturing that potential to help you grow into a more connected, authentic, and fulfilled version of yourself.
