About Erin

My approach to therapy is grounded in respect, authenticity, and empathy. I am a curious, engaged listener who brings warmth and humor into the room, creating a space where you can feel both supported and thoughtfully challenged. My goal is to help you find relief from pain, deepen your awareness of your emotional life, and cultivate greater meaning, satisfaction, and resilience in your relationships and daily experience.

Rooted in a psychodynamic and trauma-informed framework, I take an integrative approach to understanding how your past experiences, relationships, and protective adaptations have shaped the way you move through the world. The ways we learn to cope—often developed in response to challenge or harm—can both sustain us and, over time, limit us. Meaningful change begins with recognizing these patterns. Together, with curiosity and compassion, we will explore the experiences and relational dynamics that contribute to feelings of unhappiness, confusion, or disconnection, gently challenging what no longer serves you.

With a background in social work, my practice is also grounded in a deep commitment to social justice, advocacy, and anti-oppressive care. I recognize that our emotional lives are shaped not only by personal history, but also by social, cultural, and systemic forces that affect our sense of safety, opportunity, and belonging. I strive to create a therapeutic space that is affirming, culturally responsive, and attentive to power, privilege, and identity. In our work, we can explore how these broader systems intersect with your lived experience while centering your resilience, agency, and right to healing.

At the heart of my practice is a belief in each person’s innate capacity for growth. Therapy is a collaborative process of nurturing that potential—supporting you in becoming more connected, authentic, and fulfilled in your life.
